Thanks to all - an amazing total of £1181 was raised for All Saints which is vital for us to continue to keep the Church open. This is particularly important in Herodsfoot, as All Saints is the only public space in the village; with no village hall or community centre, the Church acts as a centre for the whole community and is a resource for all. In addition, the raffle for BBC Radio Cornwall’s Phoenix stroke appeal raised £100. Particular thanks to Sheryll Murray MP and Cllr Bernie Ellis for their attendance and support.

Sun 14th August Church Fete
A fine and sunny day (!) for the annual Church Fete, which took place in the tranquil setting of the Village Green by kind permission of Mr + Mrs Herbie Kastelan. The Fete was opened in fine style by Mr Bill Hall. For many years, together with his late wife Sally, Bill worked tirelessly for the Church and the Village and is a much-loved and respected member of our community. All the familiar stalls, together with cream teas and a large raffle, provided a happy celebration for residents and guests and as a result £762 has been added to Church funds – a substantial help towards the annual running costs of maintaining All Saints. The PCC is very grateful to everyone who contributed, supported and helped.
